1. ZenDoodle Painting
$35+tax /participant
- Includes materials.
- Individual projects.
- Participants create an 8x11 painting to take home.
- No artistic skills are necessary. We have lots of fun!
- Participants doodle on a page – drawing loops and circles. Then they fill in corners at crossing lines. Using watercolour pencils participants shade areas of the page. Finally with a wet brush the colours are blended into pastel shades.
2. Pass the Brush
$35+tax each participant
- 3-12 people
- Easels are set up (same number as participants)
- Each participant has 3 minutes to contribute to the painting before asked to move to the next easel.
- Final painting are a collaborative integration of everyone’s efforts
- Themes could include Gardens, Super Hero, Curious Creatures, Future-scapes, etc.
3. Canvas Clues (Pictionary)
$200+tax
- Participants organize into two teams
- Each team takes turns sending a representative to the drawing board to draw clues to help their team guess the selected word
- Winning team receive a prize box valued between $50-$80. (Gift certificates to seasonally available Manitou Beach services, example: ice cream, mini-golf, etc.)
4. Memory Bracelet Party
$55+tax/participant
- Minimum 3, maximum 9 participants
- Each participant takes home their own bracelet
- Workshop includes all materials
5. Fireside Smores Social
$25+tax per person
- Minimum 5, maximum 15 participants
- Ingredients for DIY smores provided
- Subject to community fire-ban & weather
6. Manitou Snap Quest
$45+tax /participant or team
- Outdoor fun exploring the entire village of Manitou Beach
- It is a race. Participants will need their cell phones.
- Can be played with teams or individuals
- Participants are given directions to locations and instructed to take a specific selfie.
- When the selfie is texted to the coordinator, they receive directions to the next location
- There are 11 locations, all within Manitou Beach and accessible on foot.
- The directions include up/down hills and gravel streets – it is not wheelchair accessible.
- Teams are started in different directions so they cannot tell who is winning.
- The first team to text selfies from all 11 locations are the winners.
- Winning team receive a prize box valued between $50-$80. (Gift certificates to seasonally available Manitou Beach services, example: ice cream, mini-golf, etc.)
- The organization receives a digital copy of all the selfies.
